Public Notice – Inspection of Accounts for Cefn Community Council

The annual accounts for Cefn Community Council (financial year ending 31 March 2025) are now ready for public inspection.

From 01 July to 28 July 2025, any interested person can view and request copies of the Council’s financial records — including receipts, contracts, and invoices — by contacting the Clerk. This is part of your legal right to understand how public money is being spent locally.

After that, from 15 September 2025, local electors may:
✔️ Ask the Auditor General for Wales questions about the accounts
✔️ Formally object to any item they believe is unlawful or concerning
