George Edwards Hall is available to hire for parties and events large or small. We are based in Cefn Mawr, Wrexham, close to the surrounding villages of Rhosymedre, Acrefair, Newbridge, Plas Madoc, Ruabon and Pontcysyllte.
The large hall has a capacity of 80 seated on the balcony, and 120 seated in the main hall. It is equipped with a kitchen with serving hatch at the rear of the main hall. An event licence can be obtained at the hirers request so that alcohol may be served.
Prices for the hire of George Edwards Hall from the 1st of April 2024-
Local Residents and Voluntary Groups : £14 Per hour
Non – Residents and Commercial Groups : £18 Per hour
Block bookings of 6 consecutive weeks or more will receive a 10% discount on the hourly rate.
Children’s parties: £35 for a 2.5 hour slot, extra time will be charged at the hourly rate.

As well as the main hall we have the Lower Room (which has a fully equipped kitchen) for meetings, and the Council Chamber which has a full hybrid meeting set up for those wishing to participate in meetings virtually.
