George Edwards Hall is proud to be hosting the annual Maelor Boxing Club show on the 2nd of April 2022

For part two of the VE/VJ Project, Cefn Community Council have now produced a booklet to commemorate local people who served in, and lived through WW2. Like the WW1 booklet, this is available free of charge to anyone in the community who would like a copy, subject to availability. Please contact the Community Council office on 01978 821298, or email [email protected]. Special thanks to Councillors Phil Vaughan and Joan Jones who worked tirelessly to produce both booklets.

Following a suspected theft attempt of our bench at the War Memorial Garden, we have had to temporarily remove it so that we can work out how to make it more secure. Apologies for the inconvenience, we know this is a much loved and well-used bench. Hopefully, it will be back soon.
