We are pleased to share that work has now started on creating a proper BMX track at Ty Mawr, giving children and young people in our community a dedicated space to ride, practise and enjoy outdoor activity.

This project has been developed based on feedback from local children, who told us they wanted somewhere suitable in the area for BMX riding.

The scheme is being funded by Active Wrexham and Cefn Community Council, with support and collaboration between Active Wrexham, Cefn Community Council and the Parks Team.

The works are being carried out by JB Extreme Landscapes, and we look forward to seeing the track take shape over the coming weeks.

This is a fantastic investment in local play, sport and outdoor recreation, helping to provide a safe and positive space for young people and families in Cefn and the surrounding area.
